The Hobbits of Olaf are the most recent signing to Rig Records. They are:
- Manir Donaghue - mainly playing things with strings
- Mark Rae - mainly playing things with keys
The band formed originally in 1999, and lost no time in taking nine years off to work on many and varied solo projects.
But once a Hobbit of Olaf, always a Hobbit of Olaf, and they are now very definitely ready to rock!
The band are currently busy writing their debut album, tentatively called Seventeen Lights, which is expected to be released in early 2009.
